Orchid Isle Orchestra will be Bach in Hilo on Sunday, May 22, at 4p.m., at the East Hawaii Cultural Center/Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Art. Bach's Double Violin Concerto will be featured. Pedal steel guitarist Buddy Cage, long time member of the New Riders of the Purple Sage, will be performing at the East Hawaii Cultural Center Saturday Feb. 20th. Buddy has performed on many gold and platinum albums for Bob Dylan, John Cipollina ( Quick Silver Messenger Service) , Rick James, Dave Bromberg (with Bonnie Raitte) and many others during his distinguished career. Saturday's performance will also be a celebration of Buddy's 69th birthday.
