EHCC/Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Art is pleased to present TWO FASHION SHOWS IN MAY showcasing the beautifully crafted clothing, scarves, and wearable art of Japan's internationally acclaimed textile artist and fashion designer, Akihiko Izukura.
Izukura is known for his attention to detail and his use of natural dyes and textiles to create fashions that are elegant, yet harmonious with nature. Local women will be modelling his fashions to the gentle cadence of flute and percussion instruments in the Performance Space upstairs at EHCC/Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Art. Come and experience the Magic!
