The Downtown Hilo Museum Square presents its 1st annual World Ocean Day event! The first in a series of quarterly community events to be put on by the Museum Square, WOD will take place in Kalākaua Park on Saturday, June 11 from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.
World Ocean Day (internationally on June 8), brings awareness to sustainable management of the world’s oceans and highlights the importance of ocean conservation education and action.

There will be items for sale from the Youth Arts Series, Dena Nakahashi, Monique Ortiz, and Kawelina Cruz, PLUS the Waiākea High School Key Club will be handing out free keiki art kits and YAS² will feature a free art activity for keiki and teens!
