YAS: Haunted House

The Youth Arts Series Haunted House is a collaboration with our Museum Square friends, Hawai‘i Science and Technology Museum.

We find ourselves on a journey through a haunted forest where spooky creatures and enchanted art adventures await. 
An art-based sculptural installation, pieces in the haunted house were created by Hawai‘i Science and Technology Museum, Hilo High School Art Club, Monika Mann and the EHCC Art Forward students, and students from the YAS Halloween workshop series and Halloween Art Camp. 
The Haunted House is a fundraiser for the Youth Arts Series. Admission is by donation. Proceeds from entry will go toward continuing youth programs at EHCC throughout the year.
Runs October 15–31, 2022.
  • Opens Saturday, 10/15, 4:00–7:00 PM
  • Hours are Fridays and Saturdays: 4:00–7:00 PM, and Sundays: 1:00–4:00 PM
  • Saturday, 10/29 (Museum Square Spooky Square special hours): 2:00–7:00 PM
  • On Halloween: 4:00–8:00 PM

On Saturday October 22nd, we're partnering with our friends, Hawai‘i Diaper Bank, to help collect diapers, blankets, hygiene products and more for Hawai‘i Island families in need. Admission to the Haunted House will be by donation of diapers (or other items on HDBʻs list, highlighted ones are most needed). All monetary donations from the day will also go towards Hawai‘i Diaper Bank.
