World Ocean Day 2023

 

Saturday, June 10 in Kalākaua Park, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

 

Join the Downtown Hilo Museum Square (East Hawai‘i Cultural Center, Hawai‘i Science and Technology Museum, Mokupāpapa Discovery Center, and Pacific Tsunami Museum) for our 2nd annual World Ocean Day event. This is a free family-friendly event aimed at highlighting conservation related issues and celebrating our oceans.
 

World Ocean Day (June 8) is an internationally recognized day of awareness aimed at encouraging people to come together towards restoring and protecting the oceans and ultimately the planet. The 2023 theme is Planet Ocean: Tides Are Changing.

The Museum Square event will feature keiki activities, entertainment, informational booths and more! 

PLUS we’ll be offering you a chance to win an awesome prize bag, filled with goodies from each of the 4 Museum Square host organizations! Come down to the event, pick up a stamp card, visit the participating organizations to complete your card, then enter our raffle for a chance to win!
