Lisa Solomine
Lisa Solomine has spent her career championing non-profit leadership, cultural preservation, and arts programming in New York, London, and Hawaiʻi. As former Executive Director of Mānoa Heritage Center on Oʻahu, she led the organization through a challenging transition and laid the groundwork for the development of a historic house museum rooted in place-based education and cultural stewardship. She also spent over a decade at Hawaiian Mission Houses Historic Site and Archives, where she focused on operations and administrative support, including maintaining genealogical records and providing development and public programming support. Her time working with the Hawaiʻi community deepened her commitment to preserving history through engagement, the arts, and storytelling. Lisa served as President of the Hawaiʻi Museums Association for two years, fostering collaboration and capacity-building across the islands and museum community. Now based on Hawaiʻi island, she is passionate about supporting and strengthening organizational systems and cultivating spaces where creativity and culture thrive. She is inspired by EHCCʻs mission and excited to contribute to its continued growth and impact as the Operations Manager.
