Darrell Orwig is an icon of the arts in Hawaii. He was curator of the Maui Arts and Cultural Center, and has been a touchstone to artists and patrons throughout the state for a generation. His current body of work is a courageous and profound response to highly personal life-changing events, a lifetime of vision, focused in this exhibition, upon the moment when light and dark merge.
