Talk Story: EHCC 50 Years of Culture, Arts & Community
THE COUNCIL GETS A CENTER
Grants writing and research without the convenience of the Internet… Is this even possible? Yes. Believe it!
Have you heard the segment on HPR?
Last week, Michael Marshall and Stephen Freedman spoke to Noe Tanigawa who was visiting Hilo and they both had a chance to share our teamʻs story with her!
Statement of Juror Ira Ono:
“Once again, artists are in the vanguard of public awareness. I believe they were among the first to experiment with recycling on a personal level. (Art supplies can be expensive!) With this in mind, I invite Big Island artists to enter up to 3 pieces for this juried exhibit. I will select works best representing the concept of art from trash. Originality, creativity and craftsmanship count. Large, three dimensional pieces are encouraged”
EHCC’s recently formalized partnership program is now well underway with three partners officially on board and several more in the pipeline (watch this space for additional partnership news).
