This unique class is a fusion of technology and traditional fine art media. Students will design and create their own printmaking tools using 3D printing technology. Class includes design principles, learning to use a 3D printing software program, and creating images using a traditional printing press. Students will work with Craden to create their own block printing plate and detail stamp. On the last day of the program (Friday, July 16), students will have the opportunity to put their tools to the test. Kawelina will guide them through the inking and printing process with EHCC’s in-house printing press. Students will keep their self-designed block printing plate and stamp to use over and over again!
