Youth Arts Series Health and Safety Guidelines
Safety & Social Distancing Guidelines:
All individuals feeling sick or unwell in any way should stay home.
Hand sanitizer and antibacterial soaps will be readily available. All individuals are encouraged to sanitize or wash their hands before entering the classroom area.
Face masks must be worn at all times while on EHCC property.
Distances of at least 3 ft. will be maintained amongst students and adults at all times during classes.
There will be no more than 10 people in the classroom/studio at a time (including the instructor and EHCC/YAS team members).
Parents/guardians will not be allowed to wait in the classroom area. Parents are encouraged to wait in the parking lot until the designated pick-up time.
EHCC/YAS team members will frequently sanitize high-touch surfaces and shared resources (e.g., shared materials and supplies, tools and equipment, door handles, light switches, etc.).
EHCC/YAS team members will conduct daily cleaning of tables and chairs.
EHCC/YAS team members will clean and sanitize restroom areas regularly based on frequency of use.
EHCC/YAS team members will avoid use of items that are not easily cleaned, sanitized, or disinfected.
Each student’s belongings will be stored in individual areas near or around their working area.
EHCC/YAS team members will ensure there are adequate supplies to minimize sharing of high touch materials to the extent possible (art supplies, equipment etc. assigned to a single child) or limit use of supplies and equipment by one group of students at a time and clean and disinfect between use.
Students will not be allowed to consume food/snacks in the classroom space as removal of face coverings is prohibited while inside the facility.
Students may bring their own water bottle, and will be allowed to step into an outdoor area to consume their beverage if necessary, pending availability of adult supervision (for safety reasons, students are not allowed to walk about the EHCC property without EHCC/YAS team member supervision).
All windows and doors must be left open when possible to allow for proper ventilation.
EHCC will communicate with instructors regularly and seek feedback on an ongoing basis.
