Class Description:
Priority will be given to LGBTQIA+ identifying individuals and allies*
This class aims to cultivate a safe studio space and explores queer dialogue through clay.
Introduction to handbuilding ceramics will cover fundamental techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab work.
Adult students will explore American Artist Keith Haring graffiti-inspired art through clay and more.
All firings and glazes included with tuition.

- Workshops Refund Policy: If a student is unable to attend class due to illness, cold/flu like symptoms, or other health related issue, a full refund will be issued. If a student is unable to attend due to non-health related issues, a full refund will be issued if cancellation is prior to the registration deadline; if after the registration deadline but prior to the start of class a 50% refund will be issued; and no refund will be issued after the first day of class.

Bio:Ash Huang (she/her) is a ceramic artist from O'ahu experimenting with sound and film. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture (focused in ceramics) from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and a Masters of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University of Art & Design in Vancouver, Canada.
