HILO: Navigating Our Institutions’ Future
Hawaiʻi Museums Association invites you to the third installment of our progressive Annual Conference program. Join us at East Hawaiʻi Cultural Center, Hilo, Hawaiʻi on Saturday, September 24 for a conversation with Hawaiʻi Island museums and cultural institutions’ professionals. Each panelist selected for this discussion represents one of the many unique cultural institutions located on the Big Island. Navigating Our Institutions’ Future hopes to identify the distinct ways each of these institutions are unique, hear their plans and aspirations for the near and long term, and learn from them ways in which institutions can better cooperate to synergistically improve outcomes. Executive Director of EHCC and HMA board director, Carol Walker, will moderate the discussion.
The program will run from 9:30 am to 3:45 pm and will include lunch at a special sculpture garden in Pepeʻekeo and a gallery tour at EHCC in the afternoon. This program is limited to 25 people. This conference is FREE and open to the public.
