Call for Big Island Artists
The Hawaii Craftsman 47th Annual Statewide Juried Exhibition is Oct 10-Nov. 1 at the Honolulu Museum of Art School. Artists from all islands can enter traditional or non-traditional, functional or non-functional craft with a fresh approach in categories of clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood or mixed media. $2500 in cash prizes.
Tuesday Sept. 30 Jurying: Volcano Art Center Niaulani Campus in the Village

Kona Side Entries: Mon. Sept. 29 from 10 - 2pm: Donkey Mill Art Center. Volunteers needed to help with intake, call Kate Jacobson, 987-9196. The Donkey Mill Art Center is located at 78-6670 Mamalahoa Hwy, 3 miles South of Holualoa.
Hamakua Coast Entries: Sat. Sept. 27 from 10 am to 3 pm: Hugh Jenkins & Stephanie Ross Honokaa Glass Studio. 775-1167, turn mauka at Tex’s Drive Inn, mile 43, 6/10th mile up from highway. [email protected]
*Large pieces need to be taken directly to Volcano Sept. 30 jurying. All others will be transported by volunteers in your original packed boxes.
