Class Description:
Students will learn a variety of introductory techniques to jump start their creative journey! Throughout the course students will work with acrylic paints on a variety of surfaces including paper, canvas panels, and stretched canvas. They’ll touch upon color theory, brush styles and movement, and even learn about significant periods and styles through art history.

Bio:Kellie has been part of the East Hawai‘i Cultural Center since 2016, her current roles include Graphic Design and Youth Education Director. Kellie earned a BA in Art at University of Hawaii- Hilo in 2015 and attended California College of the Arts in the Bay Area.She has been a freelance painter/muralist, and graphic designer for the past decade.
