The Youth Arts Series & UH Hilo Center for Community Engagement 2020 Online Pumpkin Patch & Fall Fundraiser

Spooky season is upon us! For the past two years the Youth Arts Series (YAS) has partnered with the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo Center for Community Engagement (CCE)  to create our art-filled Haunted House. We’ve hit pause on our Haunted House this year. We’ll be doing our part to stay socially distant while still  celebrating our favorite time of the year together.

Watch our Introduction video for a quick guide on how to participate!

Step 1: Pick up a kit. Kits are available by donation. Just pay what you can. Donations can be made online on our store page or in person at the time of pick up.

Step 2: Find your “pumpkin.” Make it, build it out of found objects, or use a real one. 2D creations will also be accepted.

Step 3: Watch the YAS tutorials for helpful tips and techniques.

Step 4: Take a photo! Check out the Entry Guidelines below for details.

Step 5: Send your photo(s) to us by Friday, October 23, 2020. Email them to [email protected]

Bonus Step!: Help us out by purchasing an item from our online store. We’ve got items for Halloween lovers of all ages to enjoy! All proceeds go towards the Youth Arts Series.

Your purchase will help YAS to continue it’s goal of providing arts education to keiki of all ages. Together with CCE, and our community partners we are committed to promoting creativity and self expression through the arts all year round.
