EHCC Lecture Series Online presents: Thing Thing: Plastic Thinking
Tuesday 11/29 at 4p HST/9p EST

Thing Thing is an experimental design collective based in Detroit with longstanding ties to the Big Island. Their work focuses on site-specific exhibitions surrounding waste, making, creativity and place. In 2019 they were invited for a summer residency with Temple Children, which culminated in a sculptural installation featured at EHCC. Next year, EHCC is fortunate to be partnering with Thing Thing, the County of Hawai'i and Temple Children for Transforming Trash: Repurposing Plastics to Enhance Public Parkscapes & Revitalize Communities - a collaborative youth art project in different parks around the Big Island.

As we reflect on our current Trash Art exhibit, we invite you to join Thing Thing for a live Zoom presentation on their current and upcoming work on Tuesday November 29th at 4pm HST.
Free to both EHCC members and non-members.
RSVP by 4PM on November 29th to [email protected] and receive the ZOOM link!
