Sunday, February 25 at 4pm.

Join us for an afternoon of anecdotes and original poetry (published and unpublished) from local artist, Gwyn Gorg. Vocals will be provided by Tagi Gorg.

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Gwyn Gorg was a curious child with a love of family, art and nature. As a young adult she focused on developing a career as a performing artist and educator, as well as participating in her community as an activist and humanitarian.

Gwyn graduated from Hawaii Pacific University and did her post-graduate work at the University of Hawaii, Manoa and the University of California at Los Angeles. Her career has encompassed a wide spectrum of work in the field of community, educational media and entertainment. Gwyn has worked as a drama and storytelling specialist for the Herb Alpert Foundation and Read-A-Loud America; she was designated 'Teacher of the Year' by the United Teachers of Los Angeles in 2007 and also served as President of the African Americans on Maui Association for many years. In 2022 Gwyn became a member of the Hawaii Writers' Guild and published a new book.
