Class Description:
In this class students will have the unique opportunity to combine their performing and visual arts skills. Students will learn to perform a variety of fun and catchy songs under the guidance of Marlise Ahuna. The music portion of the class will coincide with a course in digital animation taught by Renata Ballo in which students will create works of art that move in harmony with their songs. 
The class will conclude with a collective performance showcasing the animations and songs on Saturday, November 12 at 4:30pm in the EHCC theater (more details to come).

  • EHCC is no longer requiring that students be vaccinated against COVID19, however we will require face masks be worn by all students and staff in the classroom spaces.
  • The Youth Arts Series Refund Policy: If a student is unable to attend class due to illness, cold/flu like symptoms, or other health related issue, a full refund will be issued. If a student is unable to attend due to non-health related issues, a full refund will be issued if cancellation is prior to the registration, after the registration deadline but prior to the start of class a 50% refund and no refund will be issued after the first day of class.

    Bio:
    Marlise Ahuna, soprano, earned her Master of Music (M.M.), specializing in Vocal Performance, at the University of South Dakota (USD). Learn More
  • Renata Ballo's picture
    Bio:
    Renata has been teaching animation and digital art since mid-2000 after relocating to the US from Poland, where she earned her master’s degree in Animation and Graphic Design. Over the years, she worked on a variety of digital media productions. Learn More
