The prizes are provided by generous donations from Hawaii individuals and businesses.

The purpose of Young at Art 2018 is to celebrate “National Youth Art Month” by recognizing excellence, creativity and originality in all public, charter, private and home-schooled students on the Big Island in grades K-12 by participation in this exhibit.

The Young at Art opening ceremonies include music, prizes and an opportunity for families to support their young artists as well as the arts in our community.
